Announcements:
Refugee Women’s Art Workshops
We have recently concluded a very enjoyable three month art course for women of a refugee background at the Parramatta Artists Studios. To celebrate the achievements of our students, we are having a pop up exhibition on Saturday, 1st June 2-5pm and all are welcome! Here is the invitation to this wonderful event.
We will soon be uploading a gallery of all the inspirational pieces using a range of mediums…watch this space!

Here is our New Year’s message for 2013.
Thank you to everyone who attended our three venues at Braemer Gallery in the Blue Mountains, and galleries in Sydney’s UTS and Melbourne’s Victoria University for the Life in Limbo exhibition. We had a wonderful response from members of the public and enjoyed the many searching and edifying conservations that the exhibition stimulated.

Our New Neighbours Project was nominated for a 2011 Australia Day Award for the Community Event/Project of the Year. It was an honour to be nominated!

We are delighted to announce that one of our contributors, Sayed Majid Rabet, has two images published in the Spring 2011 issue of Meanjin. The images accompany an article by Thomas Keneally. Well done Majid! Your pieces are brilliant!
