We were thrilled to see that our New Neighbours Project was nominated for a 2011 Australia Day Award for the Community Event/Project of the Year. It was an honour to be nominated!

We are delighted to announce that one of our contributors, Sayed Majid Rabet, has two images published in the latest (Spring 2011) issue of Meanjin. The images accompany an article by Thomas Keneally. Well done Majid! Your pieces are brilliant!

The catalogue of fear+hope, which features peer-reviewed articles about refugee issues and colour images of many of the works in the exhibition, can be purchased for $25 (+p&h) and a printed t-shirt of the Refugee Art Project Image can be purchased for $40 (+p&h). Please contact us to arrange a purchase, to be added to our mailing list or if you have any other queries – we would love to hear from you!

Copies of the catalogue are also available at glebebooks in Glebe.
